Roszaina “Bay Bay” Johnson, 57, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Friday, March 6, at 1:59 pm.
She is survived by her daughter, Delicia Carter of Thibodaux; sons, Apollo Johnson, Ronald Reed Jr. and Trovon Reed Johnson all of Thibodaux; brothers, Ernest Johnson Jr. of Marrero, La., and Albert Washington of Thibodaux; sisters, Beulah Johnson Sims and Linda Johnson, both of Thibodaux; devoted friends, Gwendolyn Tucker and Jamie Howard; devoted sister-in-law, Dianne Johnson; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Sr. and Rosa Johnson; brothers, Dennis Washington and Roy Johnson; sisters, Jeanette Johnson, Carrie Johnson and Magadalene Johnson; and grandparents, Dennis Morgan and Maggie Johnson.
She was a member Calvary United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included cooking and family entertainment.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, at Calvary United Methodist Church in Thibodaux with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at Moses Baptist Church Cemetery in Thibodaux.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
