Roy Peter Chenier, 68, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 6:13 a.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2017.
Mr. Chenier previously worked for Dolphin Services, Cajun Cutters and Hideaway Ponds Campground. He enjoyed camping, cooking and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Ellender Chenier; son, Dwayne (Devon) Chenier; daughter, Melissa (Brian) Boudreaux; mother, Adriel Chenier; brothers, Gerald (Nora) and Leroy (Gayle) Chenier; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Burial is at a later date.
