Rudolph “Rudy” Joseph Carlos, 75, a native of Grand Caillou, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Monday, June 1, at 3 p.m.


He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jeanette Jane Landry; sons, Irvin Carlos of Dulac, La., Warren Carlos of Katy, Texas, and Eric Carlos of Grand Caillou; daughter, Lori Fakier and husband Larry of Houma; brothers, James Carlos of Pervis, Miss., Royal Carlos of Houma, and Harold Carlos of Bayou Blue, La.; sister, Judy Rutledge of Katy; and grandchildren, Brian and David Carlos, Matthew, Kevin and Christopher Fakier, and Garrett, Lauren and Erin Carlos.


He was preceded in death by his parents, James Carlos and Agalie Helen Lirette Carlos; brothers, Peter, Ronald, Roland and Gary Carlos; and sisters, Helen Hebert, Catherine Thibodaux and Gloria Carlos.

He was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church and a manager of Houma Oil Treaters.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, June 4, at Chauvin Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with burial at Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
