LSU chugs on as NSU, Saints suffer defeats

Rufus Paul Naquin, 90, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died at 1:50 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011.

Mr. Naquin was very active in the Louisiana Lions Club and was a past district governor for 50+ years. He was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland.

He is survived by his daughter, Janie (Ray) Folse; grandchildren, Stephen (Tonya), Scott (Jurie) and Stuart (Becky) Folse; and great-grandchildren, Savannah, Samantha, Parker, Emmie, Aiden, Braxton, Adele and Elise Folse.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Euna Naquin; and parents, Ernest and Olympe Naquin.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 at St. Mary Catholic Church with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
