Russell Thomas Sr., 55, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, Dec. 13, 2010.
Mr. Thomas was Baptist. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Allen Thomas; daughters, Jolyn Thomas, Reva and Christine Allen, Casandra Bridgewater and Demetrice (Antoine) Brown Baptiste; sons, Russell Thomas Jr. and Henry Brown; sisters, Earline and Carrie Mae Thomas; brother, Raymond (Betty) Thomas; eleven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Issac and Eula Thomas; one brother, Emanuel Thomas Sr.; one sister, Gloria Dean Butler; and one grandson, Jahame Allen.
He is buried at Third Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
