Ruth Hills Blunt, 65, a native of Lafayette, La., and a resident of Jeanerette, La., died Thursday, Aug. 6, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
She is survived by one son, Michael Hickerson of Lafayette; one daughter, Mrs. Elston (Connie) Green of Jeanerette; two sisters, Mrs. Al (Rena Mae) Johnson of Jeanerette and Mrs. William (Willie Mae) Johnson of Desoto, Texas; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at First Jerusalem Baptist Church in Jeanerette with the funeral service to follow.
Jones Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
