Ruth Ella Margaret Malbrough, 83, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010.


Ms. Malbrough was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Catherine (Clark) Carlos, Karen (Terrel) Hebert, Angelyn (Richard Sr.) LeBlanc, Jaclyn (Barry) Deroche; son, Oneil Paul (Donna Chabert) Malbrough Jr.; brothers, Verges (Jan), Levis “L.P.” (Billie) and Terry (Gail) Pellegrin; sisters, Enid (Morris) LeBlanc, Ismay “Blackie” Folse; her beloved caretaker and friend, Rosalie Bergeron; 21 grandchildren, Ty Carlos, Dr. Tia C. Castille, Terrel Jr., Brandon and Rebecca Hebert, Richard LeBlanc Jr., Rachel L. Rivet, Rusty LeBlanc, Renae L. Gould, Robyn LeBlanc, Tony, Dustin and Benjamin Malbrough, Abbie M. Bourgeois, Dominique and Christian Malbrough, and Bradley, Barry, Brett, Bryant and Brady DeRoche; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.


She was preceded in death by her husband, O’Neil Paul Malbrough Sr.; parents, Levis Joseph and Edna Boudreaux Pellegrin; and brother, Bruce (Wilma) Pellegrin.

She is buried at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
