Ruth Martinez, 90, a native and life long resident of Thibodaux, La., died Friday, Feb. 22 at 10:35 a.m.
She is survived by her sons, Richard J. Martinez and Peter L. Martinez; daughters, Gayle M. Priddy, Nancy M. Thibodaux and Rebecca M. Chauvin; brother, Nolan Gaudet; nine grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Narcis “Pete” Martinez; son, Brent L. Martinez; brothers, Louis Gaudet and Earl Gaudet; and sister, Myrtle Hidalgo.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, at St. Genevieve Church in Thibodaux with services to follow. She will be buried at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
