Sadie Williams, 84, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, Sept. 16.
She is survived by six children, Irma, Lillie, Brandy and Katina Moore, and Junius and James Williams, all Houma; one sister, Audrey Chatman Williams and husband Lester; three step-brothers, Rev. Gilmore Chatman, Henry Chatman and Emmett Lewis, all of Houma; and one step-sister, Gail of Lawton, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Lillie Cooks Williams; three brothers, Johnny, Nolan and Charley Williams; and two sisters, Irdean and Virgiana Williams.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009 at Community Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at Southdown Cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
