Sallie Ann Carney, 51, a native of Lake Charles, La., and a resident of Gray, La., died Monday, May 19, at 8:30 p.m.


She is survived by her parents, Kirby Joseph and Emily J. Boudreaux; son, Corey Maronge and companion Nicolle Wiese; brother, Bernard Lee Manuel and wife Doris; sister, Shonda Cormier and husband Brandon; granddaughter, Trinity Silence Green; great-nephew, Lucas Manuel; nieces Paige and Mersadies Viteaux and Sabrina Manuel; and one step-daughter.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Hayes and Marie Boudreaux; maternal grandparents, Bernard and Armenia Whitehead; and step-grandfather, Curtis Ned Whitehead.


Her hobbies included riding motorcycles and liked to participate in poker runs.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the American Cancer Society or to the family to help with funeral expenses.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, May 22, at Falgout Funeral Home’s Chapel with the funeral to follow Thursday. She will be buried at St. Louis Cemetery.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
