Sam Joseph Daigle, 65, a native and resident of Houma, La., passed away at his home Friday, March 27, at 10:05 a.m.


He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Barbara LeBlanc Daigle of Houma; daughters, Helen Guidry and Dawn Daigle and companion Bradley Boudreaux, all of Houma; brothers, Kenneth Paul Daigle of Houma and Ronald Daigle of Gray, La.; sister, Dana Bailey of Homer, La.; and granddaughters, Elizabeth and Amber Pellegrin, Kelly Boudreaux and Jennifer Guidry.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lilly Mary Rodrigue Daigle.

He was a retired production supervisor for Texaco, and a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the American Legion and VFW. He was a wonderful and loving father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, March 30, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, at Falgout Funeral Home. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with entombment at St. Francis Cemetery No. 2.

Falgout Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
