Samuel Authement Sr., 78, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA.
Samuel Sr. is survived by his loving Wife, Marlene Rhodes Authement; Children, Lana Authement, Samuel Authement Jr. and wife Penny; Brother, Bruce Authement and wife Evelyn; Sister, Agatha Authement King and husband Mike; Grandchildren, Renee Authement Hemphill and husband Robert, Ryan Authement, Whitney Nelton and companion Eric Durapau, Tabatha Foret and husband Jared, Lainey Grabert and husband Philip, Trent Dupre; Great Grandchildren, Jaiden, Jenna, Jarek, Rayce, Daisie, Weston, and Sallie.
Samuel Sr. enjoyed gardening, fishing, and most importantly his Family. He had a deep Faith in his Lord. Samuel was a fighter and warrior who could be counted upon in any situation.
The Authement family would like to give a special “thank you” to all the family, friends, and nurses who helped in his time of need.
He will be forever and dearly missed, always loved, and never, ever forgotten.
