Sarah Antoine Steverson, 76, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Gray, La., died Saturday, March 22.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Dabney, Mona Steverson and Deborah S. Mart and husband Larry Mart; brother, John Anderson, Jr.; 12 grandchildren; 20 great- grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emma and John Antoine; son, John Steverson; daughter, Joandell Steverson; brother, Earl Brown; and sister, Margert King.
She was a retired employee of Sears, a Baptist and a member of Greater New Salem Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, March 28, at Greater New Salem Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 29. She will be buried at Deweyville Cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
