Sarah M. Whaley, 90, a native of White Castle, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, March 3, at 9:35 a.m.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Rabalais and husband, Ronald, of Houma, La.; grandchildren, Adam W. Rabalais and fiancee’, Jennifer Kraus, and Amanda L. Rabalais; and great-grandchildren, Taylor Rabalais, and Tyler and Scott Russell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, C. Oswald Whaley and Sadie LeBlanc Whaley; brothers, Thomas and Charles O. Whaley; sisters, Ida Jourdan, Jenny Breaux and Vivian Bouquet; and grandson, Reese J. Rabalais.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, March 6, at Landry’s Funeral Home. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Aquinas, with burial at St. Anne Cemetery in Napoleonville, La.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
