Odom drops out of runoff

Sarah Estay Smith, 64, a native of Larose, La. and resident of Mathews, La. died Thursday, October 25, 2007, at 5:20 p.m.
She is survived by her son, Arthur Smith; two daughters, Josalyn and Grace Smith; one sister, Madeline Savoie; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur F. Smith; her parents, Lionel and Mercedes Estay, Sr.; eight brothers, Antoine, Maxie, Louis, Napoleon, Gabby, Joe, Clarence, and Lionel Estay, Jr.; and three sisters, Clara Breaux, Louise Toups, and Agnes Estay.
Visitation is Tuesday, October 30, 2007, from 5:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport and Wednesday, October 31, 2007, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. She will be buried in the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home of Lockport is in charge of the arrangements.
