Sharian Sartain Marcel, 68, a native of Weatherford, Texas, and a resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016.
Mrs. Marcel was loving, talented, spirited and spiritual. She was a musician and was skilled with a sewing machine. She was a member of Catholic Daughters, St. Bernadette Liturgy Committee and served as a Lector.
She is survived by her husband, Michael James Marcel Sr.; sons, Michael Jr. (Monika), John and Samuel (Becky) Marcel; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be today, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial begins at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be held at a later date at St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery.
