Sheila Authement Naquin, age 47, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, November 27, 2018. She was a native of Houma and a resident of Montegut.
Sheila is survived by her husband of 29 years, Teddy Naquin; children, Brittany Naquin Valure and husband Nick, Teddy Naquin II and wife Lee Ann, Samuel Naquin and wife Chloe, Daniel and Nathaniel Naquin; grandchildren, Eldon Valure, Madyson Naquin, Shila Valure, Ariah Naquin, and Asher Valure; mother, Anna Lee Sevin Authement; siblings, Eldon Authement, Jr. and wife Lisa, Ricky Authement and wife Darlene, Annette Whitmill and husband Jeremy, Cynthia Ratliff and husband Ron.
Sheila was blessed with a beautiful family. She was loving, caring, compassionate, and in every sense of the word a christian woman. She adored her family and loved traveling. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren. Sheila volunteered at Montegut Elementary for many years. She enjoyed putting puzzles together and most of all she enjoyed her church family. She was a member of God’s House of Praise. Sheila will always be remembered as a great wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and good friend to all. Sheila is now reunited with her father in heaven and rests in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
