Sherry Nicole Foret, 19, a native and resident of Houma, LA., died on Saturday, February 3, 2007.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her parents, Joseph Ferdon Foret Sr. and Marie Irene Billiot Foret of Houma; two brothers, Nicholas Lionel Foret and companion, Emma, and Coty Johnson Foret of Houma; one sister, Peyton Marie Foret of Houma; one stepbrother, Joseph “T-Nu” Foret Jr. of Mississippi; one stepsister, Rona L. Dagg of Mobile, Ala.; and her maternal grandmother, Irene Edna Solet Billiot of Houma.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Joseph B. Foret Sr. and Mary Lillian Foret; and her maternal grandfather, Pierre O’Neill Billiot Sr.
She was a student at Nicholls State University in pre-medicine, a 2005 graduate of Ellender Memorial High School and also a member of the Nicholls State University Marching Band.
She was a parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church.
Chauvin Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
