Sherry G. Plaisance, 63, a native of Lockport, La., and a resident of Raceland, La., died Tuesday, December 2, at 11:55 a.m.
She is survived by her husband, Charles A. Plaisance; sons, Kyle and Abel Plaisance; daughters, Patience Morvant, Zoe Plaisance, Samara Garris, Kathy Dupuy, Michol Foret and Michel Boudreaux; brothers, Walter Patrick Grigsby Jr. and Elwood Grigsby; sister, Susan Klopfenstein; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Patrick Grigsby Sr. and Marie Mae Galiano Grigsby; daughters, Tabitha Plaisance and Kelly Cheramie; and one grandchild.
She was a member of Victory Life Church in Lockport.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, December 4, at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport, and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday, December 5, at Victory Life Church. A religious service will be at 10 a.m. Friday with burial at St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
