March 15, 2012Sherry Marie Tivet Rhodes, 62, a native of Grand Caillou, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 7:50 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012.
Ms. Rhodes was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was Catholic.
She is survived by her sons, Bennie Jr. and Jean (Lacy) Prejean and Drew Rhodes; brothers, Mac Tivet and Kenneth White; sister, Sandra Ruble; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Tivet; mother, Eldoris Portier; son, Joey Prejean; daughter, Rhonda Rhodes; and brother, Henry Tivet. (Samart)
