Sherry R. Cheramie, 70, a native and resident of Galliano, La., died Friday, June 21, 2013.
Mrs. Cheramie enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter and going to casino. She was an active member of numerous veterans’ organizations in honor of her husband.
She is survived by her son, Scotty Cheramie; sister, Neva Leonard; half-sister, Mrs. Hubert Lafont; and granddaughter, Morgan Cheramie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Cheramie; parents, Leneas and Edna Rousse; and brother, Irwin Rousse.
Burial is at St. Joseph Cemetery in Galliano. (Samart-Mothe)
