Shirley W. Wolfe, 69, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Aug. 13, 2010.
Mrs. Wolfe was a devoted loving wife, daughter and sister. She was a retired TARC bus driver. She was a member of Living Word Church. She loved baking for her grandchildren. She touched many lives.
She is survived by her husband, David Wolfe Sr.; mother, Maggie Arceneaux; son, Matt (Sharon) Thomas; stepson, David Wolfe Jr.; adopted daughter, Courtney Butler; brothers, Nolan Jr., Clarence and Freddie Williams, and Bruce Pierce; sister, Joyce P. Johnson; nieces, Monique J. Neal and Reba Smith; four sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one son, Otis Thomas Jr.; father, Nolan Williams Sr.; one brother, Charles Williams; one grandson, Otis Anthony; and her mother-in-law, Mildred W. Wolfe.
She is interred at Southdown Cemetery.
