Sinclair “Kit” Howard Crenshaw, 54, a native and resident of Larose, La., died Thursday, April 2.


He is survived by his wife, Diana Lynn Wiley Crenshaw; father, Wayne Henley Crenshaw; step-mother, Emma C. Crenshaw; daughters, Cara Niederhofer and husband John, and Casie Crenshaw; brother, William Crenshaw M.D. and wife Patsy; sister, Jayne Guidry and husband Marlon; and step-sister, Debbie C. Cheramie.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ramona Titus Crenshaw.


He was the former president of the Bayou Region Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Board of Directors of SJI, Mobiletel and LATELCO. He was a former business educator at Nicholls State University. He enjoyed reading, astrology, golfing and was an avid LSU fan. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, April 06, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church with mass to follow.

Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
