Sonya Voisin Steger, 48, She was a native of Houma, La., and resident of Theriot, La., died at 3:27 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2011.
Mrs. Steger was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church.
She is survived by her mother, Pansy Voisin; son, Luke Steger; siblings, Guy, Pamela, Rickie, Reed and Grant Voisin, Rachel Heinhuis and Regina Ragsdale.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Steger; father, Elward Voisin; niece, Kalena Voisin; and nephew, Cory Ragsdale.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, July 14, at St. Eloi Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Chauvin)
