Sister Stanislaus “Sister Stan” Langlinais O.P., 81, a native of Lafayette, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died Friday, Oct. 1, 2010.
Sister Stan was a Dominican Sister of Peace and served the people of Lafourche Parish for over 35 years. At the time of her death she ministered at the Catholic Community Center in Cut Off.
She is survived by her brother, Mabrey (Jenny) Langlinais.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Cecile Lopez Langlinais; and sister, Girlie L. Fatherree.
She is interred at St. Louis No. 3 in New Orleans.
