Stanley “Downtown” Brown, 54, at native and resident of Belle Rose, La., died Friday, Dec. 23, 2011.
Mr. Brown was a retired welder.
He is survived by his devoted companion, Marie Millien; sons, Rendell, Stanley and Derrick Millien and Jamel Landry; daughter, Karen Bozeman: sisters, Ruth Fleming, Sylvia and Emelda Brown, Peggy White, Shirley Williams, Sheila Cassie, Anthanette Thomas and Jennifer Bell; brothers, Mickey, Richie and Jerry Brown; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emelda and Clarence Brown Sr.; and brothers, Clarence Jr. and Lloyd Brown.
Burial was at First Israel Baptist Church Cemetery in Belle Rose. (Williams & Southall)
