Former TARC outreach director prepares to ‘kick it up a notch’ at helm

Sterling James Hebert, 70, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, July 22, 2007, at 10:58 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Andrus Hebert; two sons, Todd Hebert Sr. and Jody Hebert; three brothers, Leroy Hebert Sr., William Hebert III and Jackie Hebert; one sister, Priscilla H. Blum; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parent, William Mitchell Hebert Jr. and Helen Jennings Hebert; and two brothers, Stephen Hebert and Daniel Hebert.
Visitation is Thursday, July 26, 2007, from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at St. John the Evangelist in Thibodaux. He will be buried in the church cemetery.
Landry’s Funeral Home of Thibodaux is in charge of the arrangements.
