Sterling P. Breaux, 67, a native and resident of Larose, La., died at 12:18 p.m. Tuesday, October 7.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Anna C. Breaux; one son, Regan P. Breaux and fiance Sally Guidroz; one brother, Louis P. Breaux and wife Judy; and three sisters, Heloise Richoux, Marion Hebert and Lois Songe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Severin P. and Lucia Theriot Breaux; two brothers, Severin “Sess” Breaux Jr. and Vernon Breaux; and one sister, Helen Breaux.
He was a retired banker, president of Parish Council and a devout member of the Krewe of Atlantis and Neptune. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, October 9, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose with mass to follow. He will be buried at the church cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
