Sterry James Cressionie, 61, a native of Gheens, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014.
Mr. Cressionie enjoyed camping, hunting and music.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Cressionie; sons, Cully and Rusty Cressionie; daughter, Sara Richard; brothers, Nolan and Sterling Cressionie; sisters, Ramona Gros and Effie Dufrene; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Abby Sr. and Eve Cressionie; brothers, Huey Sr. and Abby Jr. Cressionie; and sister, Mary Cressionie.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, and 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Mathews, La., with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at Resurrection Memorial Park Cemetery. (Falgout)
