Houma man found guilty of wife’s ‘04 storage box murder

Steve “Fat Face” Ayo, 48, a native and resident of Napoleonville, LA., died at his home Wednesday, January 24, 2007.


Visitation will be from 2 to 4:30 p.m. today at Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Bright Morning Star First Baptist Church in Napoleonville. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his father, David Ayo of Napoleonville; three brothers, Clifton Ayo and wife, Debra, of Atlanta, GA., Lionel Ayo and wife, Sharon, of Houma, LA. and Frank Ayo and wife, Cheryl, of Donaldsonville, LA.; three sisters, Ethel Mae Wilson of Donaldsonville, Betty Irving and husband, Felix, of Lawton, Okla., and Rita Hill of Napoleonville, LA.; and numerous relatives.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Mary Ayo.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
