Lenten Gumbo served for 20 years, still going strong

Sue Ellen Wallain Dishman, 67, a native of Piggot, Ark., and a resident of Houma, La., died at 2:50 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2010.
Mrs. Dishman was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Houma. She was the proprietor of a rooming house.
She is survived by her son, Robert “Andy” Dishman of Houma; former husband, Robert Dishman of Houma; sister, Jane Mendoza of Fayetteville, Ga.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Anna McBride Wallain; and sister, Jeannette James.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, at First United Methodist Church of Houma. A memorial service will follow at 4:30 p.m.
