Summer Lynn Trosclair, 26, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28, 2011.
Summer was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. She was a 2003 graduate of Ellender Memorial High School and a former student of L.E. Fletcher Technical College. She was a student at Nicholls State University completing her Bachelor’s degree in accounting. She was the Assistant Administrator, Summer Camp Director and the Child Care Director at the YMCA.
She is survived by her parents, Brian and Pixie Trosclair; brother, Byron (Vanessa) Trosclair; Godchildren, Landon Trosclair, Victoria Schott and Natalie Page; grandparents, James “Dick” and Beverly Trosclair; lifelong friend, Amanda Billiot; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Allen “Buzz” and Mary Jane LeBlanc; and Aunt Jenny Trosclair Bergeron.
She is buried at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Summer Trosclair Fund at Synergy Bank or donations may be made in her name at the Bayouland YMCA. (Chauvin)
