Sylvester Johnson, 47, a native of Buffalo, N.Y., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, March 30.
He is survived by his fiance’, Shirley Jackson; brothers, Willie, Robert Leroy and Timothy Johnson Jr.; and sister, Pamela Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Timothy Johnson Sr. and Johnnie Mae Johnson.
He worked for Jani King.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at Community Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow. He will be buried at Halfway Cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
