Cassidy: Louisiana has answers for nation’s woes

Sylvia “Noo-noon” C. Cheramie, 86, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died Saturday, May 28, 2011.
She is survived by her son, Clayton (Audrey) Cheramie; daughters, Elaine (Bill) Jennings, Nancy (Billy) Woods and Audrey Cheramie; brothers, Herbert, Landry and Harold Charpentier; sister, Gloria Danos; seven grandchildren; and 13 geat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Cheramie; parents, Levy and Justilia Callais Charpentier; brothers, L.J. and Gustave Charpentier; and sister, Alice Exnicious.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Hospice and the Alzheimer’s Association .
She is buried at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano, La. (Falgout)
