Sylvia A. Folse, 74, a native of Montegut and resident of Raceland, LA., died at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2007.
Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Reed J. Folse; one son, Jan R. Folse; three daughters, Lynelle F. Arabie, Laurie F. Matherne and Lia F. Wascom; one brother, Joel P. Authement; one sister, Elaine A. Richard; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis J. and Lois P. Authement.
She was a homemaker, a member of the Catholic Daughters and a choir member.
She was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Mary’s School, 3492 Nies St., Raceland, LA 94.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
