T. Eddie Lofton Jr., 71, a native of LeCompte, La., and a resident of Theriot, La., died Wednesday, Sept. 2.
He is survived by one son, Dana Wayne Lofton and wife Melissa G. Lofton; two daughters, Becky Lofton of Thibodaux, La., and Lisa Lofton Domangue and husband Channing of Houma, La.; former wife, Judy Walker Lofton; one sister: Jane Trotter of Dothan, Ala.; and four grandchildren, Blaine Lofton, Dillon Lofton, Walker Domangue and Ava Domangue.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman E. Lofton Sr. and Vivian Barker Lofton.
He ran several successful businesses in South Louisiana from 1976 to present. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Houma. He was a member of the South Central Industrial Association and the Society of Petroleum and Chemical Engineers.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pineville, La.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
