Dr. T.W. Kleinpeter, 94, a native of Lafourche Parish, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Burt Kleinpeter; son, John Kleinpeter; daughter, Susan Gravois; sisters, Marion Clark and Catherine Blaylock; six grandchildren, Christy Wixon, Melissa Fremin-Daigle, Bess Bergeron, Meg Barnes, Thomas Simoneaux and Eleanor Grace Kleinpeter; and four great-grandchildren, Haley Fremin, Claudia Wixon, Gabby Barnes and Lucas Barnes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ewell A. Kleinpeter M.D., and Mary Rousseau Kleinpeter; one son, Thomas Kleinpeter Jr.; one brother, Ewell “Booster” Kleinpeter Jr.; two sisters, Ruth K. Wray and Louella K. Swearingen.
He is buried at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral Cemetery.
