June 6, 2011Tammy Smith Melerine, 47, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Chalmette, La., died Saturday, May 21, 2011.
She is survived by her mother, Gladys Marie Smith; sons, Casey Melerine and Christian Smith; daughter, Chanel Gambino; brothers, Windell and Curtis Smith; sisters, Donna Labrano and Maria Long; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Donald Smith. (Falgout)
