Terrence “Terry” Callais Sr., 66, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died at 4 a.m. Friday, Dec. 17, 2010.
Mr. Callais enjoyed trawling, the casino, playing football with his grandson and cooking with his granddaughter.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Rousse Callais; son, Tate Callais; daughter, Kelly (David) Adams; daughter-in-law, Melanie Mayet Callais; brothers, Evans “Junior,” Gary “Black,” James “Jimmy,” and Dectaur “Dickie” Callais; sisters, Barbara McGinn and Gayle Brister; and four grandchildren, Kaleb and Kaylene Adams, Charlie Callais and Marissa Lasseigne.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Evans Sr. and Anna Chouest Callais; and one son, Terrence “Possum” Callais Jr.
He is buried at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Cemetery.
