Terry Paul “Cuz” “Weasel” Aucoin, 55, a native of Plaquemine, LA. and a resident of Napoleonville, LA., died Wednesday, April 18, 2007.


Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Thibodaux Funeral Home. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Co-Catholic Cathedral. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Merlyn Ann Toups Aucoin; his father, Clarence P. “Mr. Beautiful” Aucoin; two sons, Travis Paul Aucoin and Jeff Robert Aucoin; one brother, Daniel J. Frickie; and one sister, Wanda “Mitzi” Duet.


He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Rita Perere Aucoin.

He was a 1971 graduate of Thibodaux High School and was employed by the Assumption Parish Waterworks District as a superintendent for 31 years. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Tattnall (DDG19), USS Robert A Owens (DD865) and the USS C.R. Ware (DD865), where he worked as a ship serviceman, cut hair and ran the ship store. He traveled to 26 countries, and he worked at the Rinky Dink through high school.

He was an avid deer hunter and a fisherman. He enjoyed going to casinos.

He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
