Thelma Trosclair Compeaux, 87, a native and resident of Larose, La., died Monday, Dec. 27, 2010, at 12:10 p.m.
Mrs. Compeaux was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, Holy Rosary Holy Name Society and Larose Senior Citizens. She enjoyed bingo.
She is survived by her sons, Cleveland (Deanna) and Fenwick (Allison) Compeaux; her daughters, Janet (Russell) Plaisance and Camelia (fiancé Danny Mayet) Compeaux; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland J. Compeaux Sr.; her parents, Albert and Alexina Trosclair; her brothers, Loles, Albert Peter and Herbert Trosclair; her sisters, Flossie Plaisance, Eve Shewmake, Rita Vedros and Odile Guidry; and one grandchild.
She is buried at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Larose, La.
