Thelma M. Richard, 93, a native of Luling, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, Sept. 21.
She is survived by her husband, Hubert V. Richard; one daughter, Gayle Rodrigue; two grandchildren, Liza Rodrigue and Matthew Rodrigue; and one great-grandchild, Mallory Parro.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvain Hebert and Corinne Brown Hebert; 10 brothers, Roland, Wilton, Raymond, George, Lester, Harold, Morris, Raoul, Calvin and Whitney Hebert; two sisters, Ethel H. Usea and Myrtle H. Fremin; and one son-in-law, Kevin Rodrigue.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Gregory Chiasson, her caretakers, and the second floor nurses at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Landry’s Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of the arrangements.
