Thelma Pere’ Guidry, a native and resident of Larose, La., died Tuesday, April 28, at 10:45 a.m.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald John Pere’ and wife Deanie, Ralph Mark Pere’ and wife Kathy, and Dominic “Nicky” Pere’ III and wife Sarah; former daughter-in-law, Hazel Gisclair Pere’; sister, Norma Nicol David; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis Delatte Sr. and Eva Savoie Delatte; brothers, Ellis J. Delatte Jr. and Donald Delatte; and husbands, Dominic C. Pere’ Jr. and Freddie Guidry.
She was retired from the Lafourche Telephone Company after 20 years of employment.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either Holy Rosary School in Larose or the Larose Civic Center.
Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 1, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
