BOEM demands ‘worst case scenario’ planning

Theresa Trahan Lirette, 77, a native of Chauvin, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died at 4:20 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010.
Ms. Lirette was a dedicated foster parent, loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of the East Park Ladies Auxiliary and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Gary) Fanguy, Janita Fanguy and Gail (Allen) Guidry; sons, Leonard (Debbie), Leon Jr. (Stephanie) and Christopher (Ronda) Lirette; brothers, Eddie, Wilbert and Joan Trahan; sister, Rosalita Cunningham; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010 at Chauvin Funeral Home and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with burial at the church cemetery.
