Theresa Thibodeaux Portier, 65, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died Friday, October 3, at 7 a.m.
She is survived by her mother, Dorina Benoit Thibodeaux Dupius; son, Richard Portier and wife Jeri; daughters, Symantha Sevin and husband O’neil, Michele Portier and Regina Portier and companion Jake Krahenbuhl; brothers, Lucius Jr. and Gary Thibodeaux; sisters, Doris Ruiz, Rose Scotty and husband Aaron, and Faith Simoneaux and husband Ronnie; sons-in-law, Chad Authement and Alvin “A.J.” LeBeouf; grandchildren, Stacy Sevin, Stanley Sevin, Savannah LeBeouf and campanion Michael Naquin, Skyler LeBeouf, Tyler Portier, Seth LeBeouf, Erica Portier and Carilissa Gravel; and great-grandchild, Mikayla Naquin.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lucius J. Thibodeaux Sr.; sister, Betty Jean Domangue and husband Roland; brother-in-law, Benny Ruiz; and sisters-in-law, Brenda Thibodeaux and Lori Thibodeaux.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, October 6, at St. Joseph Church in Chauvin with the funeral service to follow. She will be buried at the church cemetery.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
