Sheriff’s ranges give public a new target
March 11, 2010Thomas Asher Blount, 78, a native of Belding, Mich., and resident of Smithville, Miss., died at 10 a.m. Friday, March 5, 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Guthrie Blount; son, Michael (Sandra) Blount; daughters, Michelle (Albert) Roddy, Tina (Derrick) Naquin and Diana (Dean) McDonald; brother, Harry Blount; sisters, Betty Johnson, June Middleton and Elizabeth Short; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tyler and Thelma Bower Blount; sons, William and Lee Blount; brother, Tyler Blount; and Margarete Cain and Virginia Minard.
Services will be held at a later date.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
