Thomas W. “Tom” Blalock, 89, a native of Walkerville, Ark., and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, April 6, 2013.
Mr. Blalock was a U.S. Navy veteran and a retired employee of Exxon. He enjoyed life and traveling – making memories with his family; fishing at his favorite place, Toledo Bend; and caring for his dogs and parakeets. He made friends everywhere he went.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Loretta Blalock; children Sherry (Michael) Mays, Nancy Roundtree and Thomas Jr. (Peggy) Blalock; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Stewart-Walkerville Cemetery in Arkansas. (Samart)
