Tilman J. Eymard, a native and resident of Galliano, La., died Monday, Dec. 26, 2011.


Mr. Eymard loved gardening, cooking for family and friends and playing pedro. His pride and joy was his shrimp boat “King of Kings.” He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.


He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ruth Eymard; sons, Bradley (Peggy) and Anthony Eymard; sisters, Virgis Vega and Roubella Guidry; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ulysses and Agnolia Eymard; brothers, Mark and Floyd Eymard; sisters, Bernice Doucet and Hilda Guilbeau; and grandchild, Colette Eymard.

Burial was at Cheramie Cemetery. (Falgout)
