Timothy James Morvant Sr., 52, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, June 4, 2012.
Mr. Morvant was a welder and fitter for Oil States Industries. He loved the outdoors, cooking and spending time with his family and friends. He was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta Morvant; son, Timothy Morvant Jr.; daughter, Candace (Derek) Johnson; grandchildren, Alyssa and Dylan Johnson; mother, Betty Morvant; and brother, Thomas III (Allison) Morvant.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Morvant, Jr.; brother, Tyler Morvant; sister, Cynthia Morvant; and grandparents, Ednor and Albion Guidry and Thomas Sr. and Mabel Morvant.
Burial was at St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
