Timothy “Mamut” Allen, 86, a native and resident of Napoleonville, La., died at Cornerstone Hospital in Monroe, La., Saturday, September 27.
He is survived by two brothers, Horace Allen and wife Maeola of Metairie, La., and Herbert Allen of New Orleans, La.; two sisters, Permilla Mills of Paincourtville, La., and Florida Epps of Los Angeles, Ca.; two sisters-in-law, Earline and Dorothy Muse; and numerous relatives.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Allen; his parents, Elizabeth and Frank Allen; two brothers, Frank Jr. and Joseph Allen; and two sisters, Florence Stewart and Dorisco Allen.
He was a retired laborer and lounge owner.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, October 4, at Virginia Baptist Church in Ewellville, La., with the funeral service to follow. He will be buried at the church cemetery.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of the arrangements.
